15 ft wide turf rolls
Turf is supplied on 15 ft wide rolls and ordered by the linear foot. Linear footage is rounded up to the nearest foot, since turf is cut from the roll.
Plan for seams & waste
The calculator does not automatically add a seam or waste allowance. If your area is an irregular shape, add extra length to account for layout and seaming.
Road base
Road base is calculated at the depth you enter, using Simi Pacific’s standard scoop of about 1/3 cubic yard (~1,000 lbs).
Infill & nails
Infill bags and nail boxes are rounded up to whole units. The 5 lb nail box count is approximate.
